Bloomfield Bees

Pollen

SOLD OUT FOR 2008!

Pollen is from the male seed of flowers. Honeybees gather pollen while foraging. They have hairs all over their bodies that collect the small fragments and then they use their legs to comb the pollen into balls that they tuck in the pockets of their back legs. Honeybees eat pollen and nectar for food. Pollen contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and fatty acids. It has more protein than beef per serving. Scientists have deemed pollen the perfect food. It is used for treatment of prostate cancer, to reduce LDL cholesterol, relieve allergies from pollen and enhances athletic performance. Take 1 to 2 teaspoons in the morning. Put on cereal or in smoothies, or just down some with water. If you have allergies, start with a quarter teaspoon for several days and then increase your dosage to one half teaspoon for four days and continue increasing until you are up to the 2 teaspoon amount. Say goodbye to allergies!
